-Traian Băsescu formally postponed receiving the accreditation letter of the Dutch ambassador to Bucharest, with no legal base for that, thus succeeding in straining Romania's relations with a European nation and embarking on a policy contrary to the official foreign policy of the Romanian state?

-Traian Băsescu asked the Prosecutor General to speed up the investigation into the “Revolution” files and “Miners' attack on Bucharest” files, infringing thus upon the principle of the separation of powers?

-Traian Băsescu viciously attacked the Parliament, thus undermining one of the institutions on which the rule of law is based?

-Traian Băsescu drafted a law for amending the Constitution and forwarded it to the Executive, for the latter to formally present it to the Parliament for approval, thus infringing upon the Constitution which gives the Executive, and not the President, the right to draft laws?

-Traian Băsescu made extremely violent statements against the Parliament, the judiciary and other institutions guaranteeing the rule of law?

-Traian Băsescu made public innuendos to being informed on the content of files opened as part of criminal investigations, which were not yet finalized, thus placing himself in a clearly unconstitutional position?

-Traian Băsescu publicly encouraged the Executive to assume its political responsibility to by-pass the Parliament when passing into law the drafts regulating the judiciary, while at the same time viciously attacking the Parliament?

-Traian Băsescu attacked, offended and turned one social stratum against the other, as part of a chaotic, ill conceived and poorly explained reform?

-Traian Băsescu made public the austerity measures to be enforced by the Executive, while the ministers had no idea of the change in policy, as amply documented in their immediate public reactions?
